| Looking for a Stud in the Tampa Area I have a larger female, and I'm looking for a proven stud to breed her with in the Tampa area. She is normally 11 pounds AKC, she is due to come in heat in December or January "I guess" it had been every six months, the last time it was 5 months. Email me for any other questions. I'm not sure what you need to know. I am also not sure if I'm allowed to make this request, if I'm not someone please let me know and forgive me. Thanks

| Why do you want to breed an 11 pound yorkie?

| You might want to do some reading before doing this, there is a lot of info just on this site....the statement, "I'm no sure what you need to know" and "I guess" concerning her heat cycle indicates you may need to do more research first, for you and your yorkies sake

| I'm sure you love your big gal but you will find that most buyers are expecting a yorkie that will be what they consider yorkie size. It's not always that easy to find good homes for over sized yorkies. At the cost for these dogs consumers are educating themselves and being more careful when shopping for their perfect pet. If your not going to be breeding to the standard your doing the breed more harm than good. The market is already full of yorkies that don't even look like yorkies anymore. I was just wondering why you would want to add to a growing problem.

| Oh, valid point, I'm actually not trying to sell them, there are people in my family that want them "as pets". That's why I only want one litter. Actually not to offend anyone also, I have been reading a lot and have purchased two books on yorkies that I have read cover to cover, but in doing my research I even see that people are mix breeding them with everything, and I don't want to do that. Yes I agree that the market is full, I'm actually at SPCA weekly so I see the animals that come thru there, actually Angel was the only pet that I have ever paid that much for " to purchase" anyway. I have read my post twice, please, please no one don't get offended, I want honest feedback and I know that the true breeders are really protective of the breed and I'm not try to make that worst. So it's a lot to think about and I will consider everything that you have said. Thanks
