| Just a thought -- did the vet do xrays to check for a blockage? |

He is actually nursing now, so I am still keeping an eye on him. I did do the massage on his tummy and stimulated the anus with a warm cotton ball and still nothing. He is moving more now, he looks alittle better but no sign of poo. I gave him the Lactulose around 1:20 so I will try tonight again. The vet said to try this first, he didn't think it was a blockage He said it might just be the change of diet.

| How's he doing? It's such a pitiful thing to watch them in pain. Poor baby I hope he had some relief by now. Susan |

| I hope your little one is better by now, I know it can be very upseting to watch them being sick. for constipation I give 1cc of mineral oil every day, I just went thru that with one of my baby girls , she was so constipated she was trying so hard and nothing so she started trowing up a little , I guess because she was pushing so hard but the mineral oil always works for me I don't know if anybody else here uses this method.....my baby is just fine now. |

| BANNED! | I recommend giving them 1cc of nutrical enema wait 45 minutes and see if they poo. If not give them another 3/4 cc of nutrical enema. I have also used the mineral oil method but find the nutrical usually works faster for me. Nobella ( vainchick5 ) on here can definately tell you how well it works. I had to go to her work and give her boy Rocco an enema cause he was so badly constipated. By the time I drove home after leaving her work she called and said "He Pooed",lol!! |
