Enjoy your yorkies.
I'd also be very interested in seeing what research or data you have supporting this claim. I'm sure there are many of us that would welcome as much valid information as possible.

Enjoy!
She is absolutely gorgeous!! I love her coloring. I'm sure she will settle down with her new family.

Update on Minnie,

The family we gave her to did not take care of her. She got very sick and was vomiting all the food she ate and she got very weak. So I drove up to them to see how she was doing on Wednesday to find her almost dead!

She had went from 2.4 lbs to 1.7 pounds losing almost half of her body weight. She was only skin and bones her rib cage and back bone was protruding out of her. She was laying on the floor practically lifeless!

Her new family only had her for 1 month and I could not believe what happened to her. I even told them that I had her on an insurance health plan in case she ever got sick so they would not have to incur any major expenses. They claimed her health started deteriorated 3 days before I went up there. I asked them how come they didn't notice she lost so much weight and they said didn't realize she was losing weight. I am really pissed off at how irresponsible they were.

We immediately rushed her to the emergency room for treatment. My wife was crying the whole trip to the emergency room as we had to drive 30 minutes to get to it. I forced Minnie to eat some Nutri-cal along the trip to the hospital. They ran many tests (blood work, X-rays, etc) then put her on an IV and gave her antibiotics. She stood in the hospital overnight on a IV for 2 days. We took her home last night and she began eating some low-fat soft food the doctor gave us. The doctor gave us antibiotics for home use as well. She had an infection inside her but I did not understand where, the doctor said it was going away.

I thought our insurance would cover the bill, but it only cover 10% the total bill that ended up being $1,600.00 out of our pocket.

However, on a good note, she is doing much better now but is still very thin. I just weighed her now and she weighs 32.35 ounces from 1.7 lbs, so she gained .3 lbs since Wednesday. We are going to keep her.

Oh my goodness.. The poor baby!!!.. She is better off with you guys..
Sorry that it cost you soooo much for the vet bill.. That is just awful...
Did these people do any research on this breed before buy her from you..
Some people want a yorkie thinking that they are just like any other dog.. And are they dead wrong.. I am glad Minnie is doing better since she's been home.. hugs and kisses to Minnie..

Default Fortunately, youo are there for her.

Ruben,
You have done very well and bravo!
It was awful what happened to her, it is true that many people won't care but only want to play with, they should be ashamed of themselves.
I am so sorry for the big bill that you have dealed with, however, you saved the little girl Minnie, it is worthy though expensive.
It is great that you are going to keep her and she would be very happy to stay in your arms and under your great love. Please post her photo when time permits, we all love to see her how she is now.

I am so glad that you got her back! You have to be so very careful who you entrust these precious babies to.

I have truly enjoyed reading your posts and I wish you the very best.

Thanks everyone! We freely gave her to my wife's nephew so she would stay in the family and so we could see her on a regular basis. That obviously did not go accordingly to plan. I never thought so much could go so wrong in 30 days. We had her for 15 months and she was perfectly healthy. We gave her new family 6 months supply of the food she was eating at home plus a bunch of other things to make it convenient for them.

This is a picture of Minnie before we gave her to her new Family.

Poor baby! Glad you decided to go check when you did. Are you going to keep Minnie or find another home? Guess it might be hard for you to trust someone now. At least she's safe now. Oh, I just went back and read you post, and saw that you said you were going to keep her. Yea!!!!!

Default Minnie is so pretty.

No wonder you love her so much, Minnie is such a lovely girl, the new young couple lost their chance of keeping this little angel, however, a new home of your wife's newphew is such a good idea because it is true to have the regular basis seeing her from to time, by the way, please let us see her anytime if you could take photo for her and post to us. I miss this beautiful lady.

Ruben you are a GREAT Yorkie dad!!! I am so sorry she was not taken care of well, that had to be heartbreaking to find her in such poor condition. But it warms my heart to know that she is back in your care and will thrive because of your devotion. She is beautiful little girl, and I hope she continues to improve!!!
