| Looking for breeder in Northern VA Hello all! I am currently looking for a "toy" yorkie breeder in the Northern Virginia area. I have fallen in love with a family members yorkie and would love to add one to my family. If anyone knows anyone that's reputable please feel free to post here or pm me. Thanks Last edited by metros; 09-09-2007 at 03:13 PM. |

| We have some of the finest Yorkie kennels in the country in Northern Va., Caraneal and Thimbletip. If you would care to see some gorgeous dogs join me at the DC Specialty in Sterling Oct. 12th. I'll be showing my dogs and would love to meet you.

| My boyfriend and I would love to meet you at the show. I'm glad you posted. That seems like an excellent opportunity to meet breeders in the area and see what our options are as far as Yorkie pups. Who should we be looking for at the show? (You can PM that information to me if you don't want it publicly posted) |

| I pm'd you. I'll be the frazzled one with the cute 18 month old male who is watching a very nervous man show a 6 month old pup for the first time. Sounds like fun huh?

| Not sure what you mean by "toy" Yorkie. All Yorkies are in the 'toy' group. Good luck with your search and welcome to YT! |

| I've heard some people mention them as the toy variety. Since I've been reading on here I now know better. A yorkie is a yorkie is a yorkie. No differentiations between sizes. |

| I found our little boy through the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America (YTCA) breeder contact page. http://www.ytca.org/ I think a few of the breeders were going to have litters due in Aug. You might try contacting a few. They were really good at passing along info about pending litters and a great help in answering questions. Good luck!
