![]() I can't think of a thing that would make you feel better... and I am so sorry for that. There just isn't anything anyone can say at a time like this that will make the pain and fear go away. I am thinking of you and hoping that something can be done to save this precious puppy. My thoughts are with you and your puppy and I will continue to check back for updates.

![]() Thanks Everyone! I posted a new thread titled "I Can't Believe This!!" on the little boy's progress. All of the intestines have gone back in his belly all by themselves!! He's doing fine and I'm supplementing him. I don't know what's to come yet. Now just to see what the vet has to say. My vet is on vacation so I have to use another vet.

![]() Hoping that maybe the vet can do something. How sad and scary that must be. My thoughts are with you and the little guy. ![]()

![]() how could they do that? didn't he have an opening where they came out? I have seen only one other case of it happening to a puppy and the pictures she posted were just awful. hope your little guy will be alright.

![]() I will post pictures of the before and after. Give me a little time. Then y'all can decide what it is. The vet said it was possible but also said that he's at high risk for infection and death.

![]() So they went back inside before you saw the vet? Did he put a stitch or so in? Did he say what specifically they were (mom disemboweled puppy when chewing a cord, or intestines just born on the outside). We send our prayers to guys. Sorry for the questions, as a breeder I worry sometimes about moms disemboweling a puppy when chewing a cord so I curious about that.

![]() In children it's called Gastroskisis. My granddaugher Robin was born that way. She is one of them I am raising. She is 11 years old now and fine. I never even thot about it happening to animals. I'm surprised that the mom didn't grab him and try to eat him. I am so glad that you and he are doing so well. If you can at least get some antibiotics in him that might help. I have a product called Albon and it is sometimes used as a general antibiotic. Maybe you know some other breeders in your area that you maybe able to contact in person and they may know something that would save his little life. Praying for you and the baby cause I know how fast you can get attached to one who needs help constantly. Sylvia
