30-ish Days Pregnant.... 4 Attachment(s) BellaBean is due end of August early Sept... She is about 30-ish days..and I am unsure if it even took yet. The Vet said she can't tell from palpitating only Xray, but not until the bones have calcified enough to see (like a week or 2 before due date). I dont remember if she showed right about this time or if it will take a few more weeks. The stud we used was super small and she is about 4.5-5lbs herself. I did notice about a week ago she started having 'morning sickness' she threw up once 2 days in a row. Anyways here are 4 pics taken tonight, I think the 1st 2 doesnt really look like she is, but the other 2 do... ...what do you guys think?? (I reposed in my own thread because no one seemed to respond/see it) |
Her teats look like she may be. Have you checked her for weight gain? Remi is due the 24th and really doesn't look pregnant but she has already gone from 5lbs. 10 oz. to 6 lbs. 7 oz. Her weight gain suggests that she is definitely expecting. |
if you want to know for sure . take her to get a ultrasound. the vet said you can tell in 25 days with a ultrasound. get xrays a week before she is due. my little girl got xrays on day 45 and the vet saw nothing. she had one pup and he didnt make it.keep an eye out for her during her due date. best of luck to ya. ooh yea. i have read that you should get the xrays with her on her back and not the side. im not sure which is better. it's jsut something i read here on YT. |
breeding From the pic's, I say she is pregnant! I can see the milk ridges already. Upset tummy last week is an excellent sign also. |
I also think she's pregnant. Her teats definately look to me as if she was pregnant, they quite pink and seem pointed and enlarged. If she's a first time mom then I guess her teats must have increased in size a lot which would indicate to me she's expecting. Good luch. |
By the first picture alone, I'd say yes. I didn't even look at the others. Lighting wasn't as good. It would suprise me if she wasn't. And don't even mention the vajayjay |
I love her jelly belly, and hope someday to breed Penny after I get a lot of advise from the breeders on here. |
My Zsazsa also bred for her 1st time around 30 days ago. I never saw them tie but I am noticeing some differences in her. She has been having some nausea and her teats look slightly swollen but I am concerned with around them they seem to be bluish/purplish in color is this normal? I read somewhere that it could be her milk coming in????? Very concerned but excited too. Anyways yours does look a lot the same but by your pictures I would say that yours is definitely pregnant. Is this her first pregnantcy? Good luck |
My suri was bred dec.4 and dec.7 I am feeding a high quality grain free puppy food I'm caring for her til puppies are weened and I am having her fixed she belongs to the breeder til then technically what else should I do for her she also went down with eclampsia day before delivering the pup she was bred the very next heat. Not my wishes but as she isn't technically owned by me it wasn't my call I just need advice on how can I prevent this from happening again if I can. |

This is very old thread, post your own. Ask a reproduction vet, search one out in your area. I personally would never breed again a dam that had eclampsia before an actual whelp. This is a tricky situation to manage. CA2 is not usually to be given to a pregnant bitch. Your question needs an expert to answer and pardon me for saying this, not on any on line pet forum. My best advice is given in first paragraph. Good luck and I hope you can keep your pet alive. |
Thank you I personally think she should of been spayed which I have pre payed for but breeder wanted to get one more litter from her she is 5 years old |

I have to say any breeder knowing the previous medical history of this dog, should never try to force you to go through with one more whelp. Stick up for your dog. Protect her health and well being. JUST SAY NO to this breeder. You are and more importantly your dog is taking all the risks. |

Great Post, Gemy. ....also, since I'm not a breeder I'm just going to say if you let this pup go through another whelp your crazy....absolutely selfishly crazy...but I'm sure you won't because now you armed with great information which I'm sure you didn't know before....either way keep us posted.... |
