| No, it is not too late! Cut the hair behind the ears and using medical tape, tape the ears up. Leave the tape on for 5 to 7 days. Take the tape off, and if the ears don't stay up, tape them again. Good Luck!

| You might even want to try this with your older baby. Shave the ears down both sides (to the skin) about 1/2 way down. Tape both sides. Like Charlene said leave it on for 5-6 days. I use masking tape as I think it is stronger. Good luck!

| Another way is to shave both inside & outside of the ear, cut a triangle out of a grocery bag, the size of the ear, and glue it to the inside using eyelash glue. Just be careful not to close up the ear canal. |

| It usually will come off by its self. Or a little warm water & shampoo will work. The paper is not as heavy as tape. |

| Yes it is true that puppies ears can go up and down. But I think (and this is only in my opinion) that you can have a fairly good chance of getting any puppies ears up if you try hard enough and they are under 9 months old. Here is a picture of my Bell when she was a baby and I taped her ears.

| I had the same problem w/Gus's ears. I tried taping them but he scratched so much I took the tape off after 24 hrs. I took him to the vet because I thought he had developed ear infection (kept shaking ears and head). The vet's wife was there that day and she has Yorkies. She asked if she could shave his ears and she shaved them very close on front and back and told me to massage alot. Now thanks to her his ears stand up great. I did keep the hair cut very close for about 3 weeks.

| I agree with all that has been said so far, shave the ears down to take excess weight off of them, gently massage the ears for added strength...and tape if necessary. Good luck!!!

| Gus will be 5 mos on Aug 2. I just did this last month. After the vet's wife shaved his ears, I continued doing this and I am still shaving and massaging. I need to take a new pic and post it. My boys liked him best w/floppy ears.

| I personally love the floppy eared look...that's what my first Yorkie, Spencer had. They would stand up if "he" wanted them to, but most of the time they were down. Winston, my boy now...has had ears that stood erect from the day we brought him home. You can't even hold them down...they'll pop right back up...even in his sleep.
