I have gotten different answers on this....the puppies are 3 days old right now when should we do their tails and dew claws?

normally it's between three and five days but I always feel sorry for the tiny little guys and do mine on the fourth day.

Generally 3rd day, but is also dependent on the size of the pup, if it is on the smaller side, I'll wait till the 5th day.

I prefer to do it as close to day 3 as possible to avoid the connection of nerves and pain receptors. If I had a really small pup or one that was struggling I'd definitely wait until the issue was resolved.
