| ![]() One of the studs looks like he has a bit of a roach back. Also in some of the pictures the pups look like they are loosing hair on their noses. Just curious why is the dirt and rock a breeding place for coccidia? We live on the side of a mountain and our back yard is nothing but huge rocks and dirt. Plus a lot of trees. Diesel LOVES playing in the dirt.

| ![]() I think her dogs are very cute, though obviously very much "pet quality". Yes, there's a lot of them....but they look well-kept and happy. Very over-priced though. I know it's controversial, but I personally don't have a problem with people raising non-show-quality dogs, and offering them for cheaper pet prices. I DO have a problem with them asking top dollar for dogs that aren't top-notch.

| ![]() 14 or 40. The problems are still the same as mentioned before by several reputable breeders and exhibitors.

| ![]() Can I clear something up here. The big name kennels have as many as this website. But, they are professional breeders, how do you think they have as many champions as they do. They have the great stock to breed the finest quality. The difference is, they are professionals, with a full time staff and do it for the love of their breed. Their dogs are maintained in state of the art kennels, with wonderful yards, excersized, conditioned , proper nutrition, and wonderful medical care.

| ![]() In my eyes there is no way to avoid coccidia other than to keep them under lock and key. ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() I have a rescue Greyhound in my back yard that runs and plays. Fancy gets to go out some also. We just have to constantly keep everything cleaned and sprayed and haven't had any problems either. I might add tho, she is never left unattended. Much too small and too many things can happen and too many cases of "dognapping". CJ, doesn't go out since his coat has to be protected for the ring, but he has a heck of a good time running and playing and tormenting Fancy in the house.

I completely understand your point you are making. It is just my opinion that if you pay the extra money to try and get quality dogs with numerous champions then you shouldnt have to feel guilty about advertising that or charging more for the puppies. You cant expect to buy a LandRover and pay a Kia price for it. (Not saying mine are Landrovers, it is just an analogy in general.) | |

I understand what you are saying, but I am amazed being an exhibitor/breeder that doesn't advertise, seeing that some of these breeder's fees are astronomically higher than breeder/exhibitor's fees.
