| I was wondering.... Has anyone else had to re-potty train their momma dog? My female (Sweet Pea) has started having accidents (alot). Her babies are about 2 weeks old, and she will leave them now for a short period of time. The same thing happened with her last litter too! Towards the end of her pregnancy she would have a accident near the back door, every now and again. This is understandable, extra pressure from the babies on her bladder! After she has the babies she will not have any accidents until they are 2 weeks old. She continues having accidents until all her babies went to their new home, and I had to re-crate train her for about 2 weeks! Then no more accidents! This has never happened with any other dogs I have bred, and I had her checked for a bladder infection, vet said everything looked fine. (Her urine is light almost clear, and has no real odor) Could it be her muscles just weaken from whelping and nursing?

| Roxie can't hold her poo at all after she whelps. She has accidents for a while. She's litter box trained but the box has to be far from the pups or else she won't use it. She gets back on track though so I don't worry about it.
