| Help, Please!! Angel is shaking from head to toe. She is not pregnant, in heat or nursing. She hasn't acted like she has felt well all day today, but has just started shaking in the last hour. She has eaten today, off & on. I gave her 1/2 a Petcal, a tablespoon of maple syrup, took her temp, which was 100.1. What could it be?? I'm really worried, and my vet is not answering her cell phone. |

| OMG. I hope you hear back soon. One time Holly was all shaky and walking around and looking out the windows and stuff. So I grabbed her and she was still shaking. All of a sudden we get a Tornado warning. It was so weird. I was very worried and then my neighbor called and asked if we were okay. I told her what happened and she said it was probably the weather. I thought it was a bizarre as I am not a superstitious person. Luckily it went away after about an hour. Gosh I hope it's nothing serious. Maybe she's scared. Are you holding her? Has it gotten worse or better? I hope that vet calls you soon. Keep us posted.

| It has lessened a little since I gave her the syrup, but she is still not quite right. I'm furious that my vet has not called me. |

| Well, I put her to bed last night with a bowl of puppy food that I had left over from Gracie's litter, and I mixed a little of the maple syrup with it. And her water bowl. She had completely quit shaking when I finally went to bed. This morning, she seems perfectly fine. Maybe she just had low blood sugar. But she had eaten during the day, no less than normal. I will definitely keep a close eye on her. She has dropped some weight and seems a little on the skinny side. I think I'll get some canned food to mix with her kibbles to try and plum her back up a bit. Thank you for your concern and your prayers, Holly. |

| I'm so glad she's doing better. How is she today? I'm hoping it was just a rare occasion.

| She is doing just fine today. I bought some canned food to mix with her kibbles, and she has eaten very well today. She could stand to gain a pound, so I'm going to continue to "doctor up" her food (just a little, so as not to spoil her) for awhile. That episode really worried me. If she hadn't quit shaking, I would have been up all night with her. She is over 2 years old. I always thought the low blood sugar was an issue with puppies, not adults. If that's even what it was . . . . ? |
