| Please Help!!!!!my Yorkie Is 47 Days Pregnant And Tied W/male. I have a Yorkie that is 47 days pregnant and she tied with my sisters male Yorkie. I bred my girl and have taken her to the vet, who confirmed that she is indeed pregnant. And that she is app. 47 days. Yesterday, I let her out to go to the bathroom and my sisters male tied with her. Have you ever heard of this? The vet said that she may have a touch of vaginitis??? as this will lead the male to believe she is in heat, but he doesn't think so, because her vulva is not red. He also says that she may have a "loose cervix" which allowed for penetration. He says she may or may or may not lose the babies. This happened yesterday at about 7:30p. This morning she is fine. She is eating and acting as though nothing is wrong. Can anyone tell me if you have heard of this and what are the chances she will lose the babies. Waiting for HELP lvmydgs |

| As of tonight, Ellie Mae is still pregnant and is now 50 days. She seems fine and still has a hearty appetite. Puppies due the 8th of June, if all continues to go well. I want to say thanks to everyone who replied as I have posted in the breeders forum and no one who has repied has ever heard of this either. Our neighbor did tell us that he had a female (not sure if it was a Yorkie or not) that would take a male every month. So, I suppose that sometimes things just happen and we are left to worry ourselves to death. However, if I do run into somebody that has heard of this, I will let everyone know. Once again THANKS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much to all who did reply and for your concern. lvmydgs |
