I have a Yorkie that is 47 days pregnant and she tied with my sisters male Yorkie. I bred my girl and have taken her to the vet, who confirmed that she is indeed pregnant. And that she is app. 47 days. Yesterday, I let her out to go to the bathroom and my sisters male tied with her. Have you ever heard of this?
The vet said that she may have a touch of vaginitis??? as this will lead the male to believe she is in heat, but he doesn't think so, because her vulva is not red. He also says that she may have a "loose cervix" which allowed for penetration. He says she may or may or may not lose the babies.
This happened yesterday at about 7:30p. This morning she is fine. She is eating and acting as though nothing is wrong. Can anyone tell me if you have heard of this and what are the chances she will lose the babies. Waiting for HELP lvmydgs
