Please don't leave!! |
i do understand and im sorry if youve had the wrong impression but this would be advice Yt would give anyone in your situation all in all its your choice. and we are going to deal with that and still have you as a friend and look foward to you gettin a new puppy or updates on the one you have. can you post pictures of your baby? |
Dont leave. I dont think anyone meant anything unkind towards you they are just concerned about the pup. Why dont you try to sell it on here? |
You should stay. None of this was your fault. Some expressed feelings of sadness for the puppy being flown again, as you feel I'm sure. You're a compassionate person as we all are, in the end....do what you feel is right in this situation. If she does fly...the puppy will be okay, she's got a good bill of health. |
i didn't see anyone being mean or rude to you either. I understand you are in a very emotional place right now but you are going to do what you are going to do. had it been me, i would have made a huge post about this breeder in the "Breeder review' section instead of here. That way people would know not to fool with her. |
I have a few tinies.... they do not grow/mature at the same rate as your "typical" sized yorkie. When I purchased my Jasmine at 7 months old... my vet thought she was around 4 months old, based on her teeth. I currently have a pup (my Bitsy's male)... who is 6 weeks old ...who has no teeth yet .... I see them under the gums. My Wilma's pups at the same age (actually they are 3 days older)... have teeth. When the pup goes in for his puppy shot next Wednesday, I will ask my vet if he saw this pup... how old would he think he is... My guess is younger than he really is. It could be the pup you purchased because of her size is just maturing slower. Most vets really don't see too many tinies.... All the best to you. :) |

Marcel, right now, reminds me of my Wylie at 12-14 weeks, so there can be a big difference. |
Hey girl... before taking extreme measures - like leaving YT - just take a deep breath and try to look at what people here said w/ a more relaxed mind...:happyw: :daisy: I know how you're feeling 'cause I had a similar problem... When my Dad bought my 1st yorkie (Maggie), the breeder said she was 50 days old... Well, after picking her up at my Dad's house, I saw she was NO near 50 days old, and the vet estimated she was 35 days old!!!:shocked7q I HATED the breeder for selling such young pups... I wanted to return her and get the money back, but then I thought better and decided to not give her back to that hatefull breeder... I kept Maggie... And now I'm proud to say she is the joy of my life, and I am so so happy for making a decision of making her part of my family...:ghug: So after all this, all I have to tell you is think well so in the future there will be no regreats...:wink5: Good luck girl... and feel free to pm me if you need anything...:justahug: |
Wish she hadn't quit the board. I see that she is from Middleville and that's SOO close to me! I would've loved talking with her! |
maybe she'll come back after she has a chance to rethink things. It looked like there was a lot of concern for her and the puppy. |

The way to not let a breeder "get away with it" is to not buy in the first place. If she sold you a sickly puppy, that would be completely understandable, but it is sounding like she's not going to be tiny enough for you. If I'm wrong in my understanding, I apologize, but that is what I gather from your posts. If I have it wrong, please tell, why is it terrible that she is younger than you expected? |
well skoshi is a bigger sized yorkie and he didnt have his teeth when i got him and well i know i should have and i never told YT this but he was 7 weeks and i know im dumb but i still got him and he didnt have baby teeth. his tongue hung out because he didnt have any teeth to keep them in lol! but anyways just saying i think they all grow at different rates like us! |
Sorryyters! |

I think that all of us on here took her literally when she said that the puppy was the size of a bird because some of us do have little ones that small. Lily is 5 months old and that is a great way to describe her size. |
