It is very difficult to determine pregnancy in dogs. If one wants toknow earlyh on, an ultrasound can be done.

I read that dogs are the only mamals that do not have a hormonal change that can be used to determine pregnancey.

Can Yorke's really get morning sickness!!!!!!!!!! I didn't know that, see I'm in the same problem now, just waiting to see if me little girl is going to have pups. She throw up the other day, let me ask this, now since i don't know for sure if she's going to have pups should I be feeding her anything extra? What about if she's not wouldn't that just the being of a bad habit.

I think Darla had a false pregnancy..she gained weight, her nipples got much larger...she gained lots of weight and her tummy got quite large...she even got milk in...but no puppies!! She even had the morning sickness and change of behaviour (including accidents in the house), so false pregnancies are very hard to differenciate until the day passes lol...its also hard to tell by pictures.

Once my girls have been bred I start them on a good puppy kibble. It won't start eating problems and it has the extra nutrition that they need in case they are in whelp.
