but i guess some people just refused to understand...this thread is getting pointless in my opinion because it is like we're talking to a brick wall... |
i didnt know people actually kept track that far along. or that people actually went arround telling people what breeder their dogs came from that far into it all. that would be like me saying my dogs grandpa came from joe schmo the breeder. and i dont know anyone who does that. but i guess if their show dogs they do. i dont know. |
see that is where you need to do more research...a pedigree that comes with registration entails all...dating back 3-5 generations... it will list the kennel name, registration number and so forth... and when a careless breeder breeds with your dogs...and has full registration...then whom ever buys the puppies from you will see who is in the family tree...get it? that is what they are protecting. |

Thank you very much! sorry for the trouble im just trying to understand. the breeder i got my puppy from wasnt very good long story there. and she is supposed to be sending my my registration papers today so im clueless on all this. either way she never explained it to me just said she would leave it open so i could do what i wish. i have no plans to breed her i think she will be to small. thought about it but now i know she will most likely be to small and id rather not risk it. i just didnt know the difference and why it mattered i guess my breeder doesnt care how her line looks. |

If they take your dog and breed it to a bad dog, and the offspring have problems, then it reflects badly on both parents. BTW there are way more health risks with dogs that are not spay/neutered, such as breast cancer and testicular cancer. so I don't understand your reasoning behind not having it done. If it change their personality at all it would only be for the better, making them more affectionate and less likely to run or to be agressive |

I hope I don't start another argument here. But, being a show breeder......here I go.....The puppies I don't keep go out on a limited registration and here's why. The woman that trusted me with her dogs has been in the yorkie world showing and breeding for 35+ years.....breeding over a 100 Champions. It took me along while to get one of her dogs......it would be betraying her trust in me to protect those lines she took so many years to perfect if I let them go to anyone......She or I do not want to see her dogs in every Backyard Breeder's pedigree and believe me there are those that would do anything to get her line with 10 generations of Champions in their pedigrees. |
