I agree with you and I apologize for participating in this thread. To the buyer, I'm glad you told your side of the story (even though it wasn't fair for this to be brought on a public Yorkie forum) but I hope everything works out for you. I'm sorry you won't be getting Tilly. I wish you the best of luck. To the breeder, I know you'll have no problems selling that little girl. It's a shame things didn't work out. Good luck to you too.

I agree. It is nice to have the other side of the story. This just sounds like a misunderstanding now

Sorry to hear your not going to be breeding any more, I've always admired you as a breeder. Congratulations on your sons accomplishments. What a joyful time, will be soon at least.

I haven't replied to this thread because I really dislike it when private matters get turned into a public topic, which in my opinion is not neccessary at all.

I just wanted to say that I really hope that everything works out for both the buyer and the seller and that the situation can be resolved. <3

Yes there are always two sides to a story, and hearing both can make you feel differently.
Sounds like a disappointing aggravating day for both. Communication is so important, I have sometimes forgot to tell someone a valuable piece of info, if I dont write it down Im doomed:p
I so hope you all resolve your differences and come to terms both of you are happy and at peace with.
I too wish I wouldnt have commented on this private matter, but I did.
I did learn something about airlines I sure didnt know though!

Wow! Congratulations! As the mom of a Freshman football player (QB and defensive corner), I can really appreciate the talent your son must have to be getting that sort of attention from the big name school recruiters. That is indeed a lot to be proud about! Good luck to him and I hope in a few years mine will be following in those same footsteps! You are so right -- the prize in this case is HUGE!

BTW -- I think all agree you did the right thing with the puppy (well all except the lady who arrived so unprepared to provide for the puppy!)

Take care and let us know where your son decides to play. We watch a LOT of football in this house and I will be glad to cheer him on.

I should read all the way to the end before I post......

In a way, I am glad for the thread though. It is a good learning experience for both sides of the deal. I want to breed some day if all works out. I think this is a good object lesson to have a contract that covers all details. I will probably buy more Yorkies and I am pretty sure the next one will come from out of state. I will make sure to triple check all transportation arrangements and see the sales contract ahead of time, as well as make sure of the type of final payment expected.

Seems like a couple of good people just got crossed up. If some of us learn from the experience though, we can turn it to a positive. I have probably saved myself a LOT of grief by reading the experiences of others here at the forum. I learn every day and will hopefully be much better prepared because of others. For that I am thankful.

I am glad both sides of the story were posted. Even though this is a private matter, we can all learn something from this. Thank you, both of you, for sharing your story. So sorry things did not work out, but everything happens for a reason. This particular puppy was obviously not meant to be yours. Best of luck to you both.

I agree with the person who suggested closing this thread. I understand everyone wanting their side of the story understood, I suppose, what I don't get is why people who aren't even involved are bringing up old, touchy issues--issues that don't even involve ANYONE here but that always stir up drama, hurt feelings and cause turmoil. Yes, this is all very familiar of a previous situation...and you see what the result was. For the love of Pete, WHY even bring that up? Just in poor taste and pouring salt on an old wound.:( :thumbdown

Definately agree with you Bama. Guess some just like to dredge up things that are long past and should have remained buried.

I agree totally. I cant imagine how hurt i would be if I got on here one day and there were all these posts about me. It would break my heart. Some things should be left private. BTW, to the buyer, I think that your post was very nice and mature. Good for you.
