Would you breed her?..... I was watching a thread about briers yorkies and the question about the colour gene came into question, about whats standard and whats not.Well if you look at the pic of my Boots i would say that she is not the standard colour. When i got her as a puppy she looked: like a normal yorkie puppy colour, all the right markings in the right places, but as she got older she turned this colour, she is 1 now. My question to all you breeders out there is, if she was you'res would you breed her. im not thinking of doing this just wondering what all you professionals out there think? She sure is ciute isn't she lol. boots color.jpg

question Never ask my opinion if you want me to "tickle" your ears... No, I would not breed her..she looks to be a perfect pet, but she is oversized, flop earred and does not appear breed quality. I can not see her pedigree of course, but a good pedigree is vital..you can not ask a bitch to produce well unless her pedigree gives her the genes to do so...but as I said, she is a perfectly darling pet.

Awww..shucks! Go on! I used to write children's nonsense ryhmes, but my kids thought they were dumb! There once was a very sick whale, who pink spots from her head to her tail. The doctor came and shook his head, "I'm afraid you'll have to be put to bed". Now correct if I'm, but is there anyone that strong, who can put a sick whale to bed?

Thanks very much ladies, very informative answers. I have no intentions of breeding her, just wanted opinons. I bought her of a lady who works close to my home, she had bought her and then didnt want her, and because i already had Missy and fell in love with the breed i decided i would have her knowin she was going to have a great loving home. She is a great pet very loving, and caring and i would'nt part with her for the world. But it just shows you that some breeders here in Ireland are just breeding soley for the money and not the breed.

| But it just shows you that some breeders here in Ireland are just breeding soley for the money and not the breed. You made the above statement. I just added; that you don't only find those breeders in Ireland.
