Has anyone heard of Courtash Yorkies? Has anyone ever bought a pup from courtash yorkies the breeders name is Kory and she is in California? |
I have seen their website & they seem really nice but I dont have any personal experiences w/them but the pics look nice. |
I am looking for a female with breeding rights. but I don't know nothing about her and her program there is no champions in her line and I want to be sure I am getting what she says. |
I have seen the web site. Did you see that teeny tiny yorkie named MyJoy. So cute. All the pictures that I have seen are so cute. |
I've never bought a puppy from her, but I corresponded with her through email and she seemed very nice and loved talking about her puppies. They have some super itty bitty ones with cute faces. |
"Super itty bitty" Please...........how many times must people explain about the problems with "itty bitty" and especially BREEDING these poor little babies. Please reconsider and continue looking. |
No, I am not going to get a tiny for breeding. I have a tiny and I certainly would not breed her, She is my show & tell girl. I have a 3 lb. yorkie so I know all about the tinies. That is why I am looking for female. She has breeding sizes also she specializes in tinys, but she breeds up to 8 lb female yorkies. I LOVE HER DOGS LOOKS. |
Checked out her webpage and she says on there that her dogs are not to the standard. If you really want to get into breeding seriously I would start with a dog that meets the standard. However her dogs are cute |
Yes, I Am Still Searching. It Is Alot Of Work But Well Worth The Search When You Get The Right Pup. Lots Of Mills Scammers And Brokers Out Here. |

Everyone knows females under a certain weight SHOULD NOT be breed on purpose which is another reason I declined to purchase one of her puppies. But her dogs are obviuosly super small and they do have cute faces. |

My 12 week old Mango is the grandchild of Courtash/Cory's Yorkie, Misty Blue; you can see a pic of him on her website. His son, the Sire of my Mango is 2.5 lbs, but the Mom is larger, at 4 lbs. Mango at 12 weeks, is 1.8 lbs, has an appetite like a horse and appears to be very healthy. She apparently looks a lot like Mist Blue, who is a stunner. Cory was very helpful when I contacted her. I don't know if this helps, but from what I gather, she breeds tiny males to much bigger females. My Mango did not come from Courtash, just to clarify, but from a breeder that seems to often use Cory's Sires. |

My "Too Cute" came from Kory and I have another male coming in this Tuesday. I am also, getting a female that will be large enough to breed when grown. Tell Kory you are wanting breeding rights and want a puppy large enough to breed, she will let you know when she has one large enough. She is expensive but certainly has a wonderful line of babydoll faces, short legs, staright backs, good bite... I am extremely satisfied with "Too Cute", he topped out at 4 lbs. Hope you find what you are looking for....but for my money I will put it on Kory's yorkies any day! |

i don't know. i know you cannot tell anything from a website but her website is way tooooo busy for me. she has one litter a month????? and she has 4 breeding females. i would question that. not to the standard???? we here at yt always talk about people not breeding to the standard. my personal opinion is .....she is overbreeding (unless there are females she is not showing). also she studs and ships the seman to 'WHO EVER". she doesn't appear to care...just wants the money. i, of course, could be wrong but her website is one i would stay away from. |

Is it possible to have 1 litter a month with just 4 females... |
those are some very nice yorkies but I think they are way to expensive not to be from Champion lines. Too expensive for anything really. |
i had a little guy 1.14 ounces to little for me always having to make sure he ate and watch for sugar and watch not under feet i sold him back to breeder now i have a 3.5 pound male much happier with him than i was the very little guy |
2 Attachment(s) Here are pictures of my latest little guy. He is coming in today, weight 3 lbs, at 20 weeks and 3 days, should top out at 4 or 4.8 lbs. Barbg402 Your dogs are adorable. Absolutley beautiful. How exciting you are getting a new baby tonight. I am Jealous...I want a new baby too. You do wonder about breeders but Kory sounds like she delivers what she promises. |
I think the puppies are cute, but I personally have an issue with puppies that are 1lbs, 2lbs, 3lbs etc. They are just soo tiny and why, so that they can be carried around in a purse? For whos benefit? I might get bashed here for my opinion but it is just that MY opinion. I get irritated that these dogs just get smaller and smaller because of human want? She has so many puppies listed there on her site that they must just be popping them out. I also can't believe the prices but no doubt folks will pay it. I have nothing against anyone who wants a tiny Yorkie, but its just kinda sad that its gotten so far away from the standard. I was also surprized to see a "party" yorkie there, just one? I will admit that the baby faces are adorable, there is no doubt. Good luck with your search. Kathy |
When I look at her site I see a person who makes an exceptional living off her dogs and that personally makes me sick.. I have a male in my home that is beautiful! He will be 2 years old this summer and weighs right at 1 lb. 12 ozs. and personally would never place him in any other home! I have been very lucky with him and there being no health issues.. But there is usually alot of heartache that comes for yorkies who are tiny.. I also wonder what size some of her females are to have puppies who are so tiny? A runt is one thing, but I do not think her's are runts.. |
