I'm only going to say this one time and then everyone is on their own. Believe me...from past experience...be careful that what you post about him (e.g. calling him a miller, etc.) He watches this board and will slap a libel lawsuit against you in a heart beat. If you can't prove it, don't speak it. JMO

I had a very tiny one from my november litter He weighs 1 lb 9 ozs. The rest of the litter were all normal size, so sometimes it just happens. but this guy, geez, he must spend a fortune on c sections. I kept my little guy cause I was afraid that if I sold him they would not take care of him the way I did. Every hour on the hour 24/7 giving him dextrose to keep him from crashing and even then he did a couple times. Now he's fine but no way did I intend on having one this tiny. Mom and Dad are both 5 plus lbs. I wonder how many this guy loses? I had a tiny girl in this litter too and lost her, just about broke my heart. In all the years I have bred this is the first time I got tiny ones. Mom got retired after this litter, so hopefully I won't get any more tinys. I don't mind small, but this is rediculous!

I could never sell this puppy and get enuf money to make up for the loooong hours I put in or the hard work he did to stay alive!

I agree with you now, but before I found this forum and learned some things about tiny babies, I didn't know it wasn't good for them to be so small. It never occurred to me that people would breed an animal to a size that could hurt it. Too much faith in the goodness of people I guess.

Is there any way to stop this? Can the AKC or somebody do more? What are they doing now? Just wanna learn more.

Those teeny tiny puppies need room for their organs to develop. Can you imagine how tiny their, heart, brains, lungs, stomache and other vital organs are? How can they function properly being that small.

I have had to learn that it isnt my place to judge but I do believe in karma & if it doesnt get you its because God is saving you for later & people will get whats deserved. No ones perfect but some will do anything for a buck. Money is the root of all evil. I would love to be very very $evil$

But I'm just to darn sweet

Did you notice where it listed 17 Yorkie Mamas to sell as a group for $15,000? They ranged in age from 1 1/2 yrs to maybe 5 yrs., I've forgotten the upper number. I don't know why you wouldn't sell those individually with a spay/neuter contract so they could finish their years as a loved pet.
