| i couldn't do the hemostats on the dew claws they were too tiny. also, two of them had only one. I can't see any on this tiny girl. |

| She finally got back up to her birth weight this morning and I docked her tail. She whined a little but has been fine. Acting as if it never happened. |

| Glad all is well....if anyone lives close to me, I will be happy to show them..taught many...showed a few vet. They told me they were taught to cut and stitch.. When I decided to learn, I watch a video from Teri Shunsky..but I do it a bit different now... |

| Thank you so much for your help. NOW, how do you do the dew claws. we had to cut these, they are so tiny. two of them only had one and this little girl has none that we can feel. seems like I saw on here once that someonee fastens the clamp and then just twists the little nail out. leaves the rest. is that the way it is done? |

| I use a much smaller hemostat on the declaws...not much bigger then tweezer...clamp, wait 10 seconds, twist..leave about 30 seconds. |
