| When Pixie was younger, I was always worried because they wouldn't stick up (although I loved the floppy ear look!) That was before I found this forum for support.... And I didn't know how to tape them. I just trimmed the hair on her ears so that it would be lighter, and by 4 months, one ear stood up, and by 5, the other was up also.

| Itis not unusual at all. She may be teething and that is a time they may go up and down. Sadie got one up, then both, then the first one up drooped and finally they both stood up nice and straight. Ben (in my avatar) came home with both standing and they never drooped. Here is one of Sadie with her one up/one down fashion statement:

| Same with Ferdinand... I didn't tape or shave either. You can kind of see his one ear down in my avatar. It had started to stand up more when that pic was taken though.

| My Desi is 2 years old, she has one ear up and the other down. When she was a puppy, both ears were down and I taped them on and off for more than 3 months. One ear stayed up but the other ear never did. I think she looks so cute with her floppy ear.

| I tried again! (she seriously won't keep the tape on for more than a day, we tried scotch tape and it came off right away so we have mainly been using medical tape) Anyway they stayed up for a whole day, it was too cute. Then she went to bed and woke up with it floppy again....ugh! It's completely shaved, whats up with this? The other ear stayed up after the first taping weeks ago and has never gone down.
