About 2 1/2 hours.. But I would drive there is it meant getting one of my little ones a good home!! LOL;) |
I just recently sold all our babies we had 4. 2 boys and 2 girls the boys went so fast and the girls took a bit longer,Alot around here will advertise at 6 weeks but not let them go till 10-12 weeks mine were 14 weeks when they left.Usually the little females will go first. I know a lady in rochester that has had her two tiny females for sale for about 2 months good pedigree and they are TINY as of yesterday she still has them! |

males I too have a harder time selling males. I think it's because females can have puppies, but I always tell people if they aren't planning on breeding, they are better off with a male. Usually males have less health problems, (less plumbing) and they don't pms like females. I swear I love my girls to death, but if I didn't breed I'm not sure I would own a female. I make some cute bandanas for my boys and they have some way cute little hats out there for boys so dressing them up isn't any problem for me! |
I do not know why mine went so fast (males) I got 800 for my females and 800 for the males, that is the going price around here.I only knew 1 of the people that bought our pups and my husband works with him (they took a female). Mine were about 2 pounds at 14 weeks, one of the males was 3 pounds and he went first.(of course he was the kids favorite!) I do have a good pedigree but none of them were too intersted in that they just wanted them for pets. Maybe come down on the price a bit and see what happens. My next litter when we have them is all spoken for ,males and females. I just bought another LITTLE male 1.6 pounds at 14 weeks he will be small and has a great pedigree. The guy I bnought him from is in the cities about 3 hours away and he had 3 females left all the males were sold.So go figure I guess boys are in demand right now in our area. |

How big are your little ones? Alot of people around here DO like the bigger ones I mean 6 pounds on up,I do prefer the larger ones myself especialy with younger kids.I have a neuterd male that is 10 pounds and he is the sweetest little man he is great with my day care kids and the perfect size for them to play with. Most prefer the small ones but alot do like the larger yorkies. |

Thanks Lori!! |
I had a lot of people wanting my male. The hardest part was just finding a perfect home for him and I was not in any hurry. I had made my mind up that if I did not find the right home I would keep him until the right home came along. But eariler this week we found him his forever home. All references (and good ones too) all checked out great. So we are now just waiting for him to grow older. I had probably 3-5 emails a day. Ugh!!! T. |
