I hope your right Sugar's mom, because if this is true, I feel so sorry for those poor dogs of hers. And I wish that someone steals her two dogs and gives them the proper and loving homes they deserve. I had quite a few things to say on this, none that were good, but I will leave it alone as I think this is just some poor young girl looking for a thrill in getting people worked up. It is a shame there are people like that.... |
Omg. . .i Think Im Sick. WOW. . . i cant believe what im reading. WTF is wrong with you? why would you breed a TINY first of all and second, SHES 10 MONTHS OLD!!! Just so you know, she is TOO small to have babies.... and if you think you just let her have sex with him and get her pregnant....then have the puppies and make lots of money wake up hunny....YOUR WRONG! I know you have that miami mentality i am from miami also, just because yorkies here are 10,000 doest mean thats what your gonna make off the poor babies. Did you stop to think your girl can DIE? Also you havent done any research to know how much money you have to spend in a litter. This is sick. You know my baby just had a pup, and she was 10 months old when it happend. IT WAS AN ACCIDENT....not intentional like you. Well you know what? That mistake has put my life on serious hold. I had to stop a semester of college to take care of my girl and her pup, not to mention all the money i have spent... So if you work or have school....wake up , you cant leave them alone. And the whole time i was thinking what could go wrong, and a possibility of my girl dying. So think through what you are doing... Dont breed her if you care for her.:thumbdown  :thumbdown |
Ok hi let's get some things straight here. *Yes I'm 17. *I do not let my dog get pregnant. When she goes in heat the neighborhood dogs like to sneak into my backyard. Please stop all the bashing because I care for my dog and her puppies as if they were my children. If anyone wants pictures of how well in shape my lab and her pups are just email me. *About the "I don't care if the puppies come out deformed" You completely misunderstood me. The poster above said that I wanted Cindy to have puppies because it's cute and i (in a bad way) tried to prove my point by saying that even if the puppies would come out bad and wouldn't be "cute" I wouldn't just leave them. *I am NOT a bored teenager * I said it about 4 times. I'M GOING TO WAIT UNTIL SHE'S 2 YEARS OLD TO SEE IF SHE GROWS SOME MORE AND IT IS SAFE TO BREED HER. I'M SORRY IF I HAD A QUESTION ABOUT IF SHE WAS OLD ENOUGH!!!! * SHE'S NOT TINY!!!! I just took her to the nearest petsmart and she weighs 4.9 lbs (almost 5!!!) * I LOVE my baby so DO NOT say that I am irresponsible. I would do anything for her. That is what upset me the most. You do not know me to judge me like that. I stayed with her 35 hours in the vet without sleeping when she had just a fever. *We have $3000 saved up for her PLUS medical insurance in case of ANY emergency (not just for birth). PLEASE do not bash me anymore and I am sorry if I mis-worded anything and offended anyone. |
Oh and another thing. I know I haven't done research on it. That's why I asked the questions on here as my first step into research since, until today, this was my first stop for any questions regarding Yorkies. |
Sick... |
I don't understand. what's so sick? Oh an if any of you think that cindy is as small as she is in the avatar, that was when she was 6 months old. She's way bigger now just to let you know. |

Nobody was bashing you...you got upset that a few of us gave our opinions and suggested you not breed and if you remember, you posted: "People listen to yourselves. This forum sure has changed since i've been gone. I can't believe you just said that. My Cindy is not property. She's my loving companion. You people are just sad. How can you even think that?" You must understand we all give you the advice we would use on "our own" and it really is not responsible to let your Yorkie breed or "have babies" or your Lab for that matter. :thumbdown |
I know that by letting her have puppies I am putting her at risk. To get something clear here: I haven't made up my mind yet. I asked questions. That's all. Look where this has led up to. I still have to go talk to the owner of her parents to get an opinion from her, talk to other breeders in my area, take her to a Toy dog clinic, and THEN, after they have examined her and given me their thoughts on it, decide whether the risk is really high or if it is really low. I wouldn't do anything that would hurt her. Why is everyone thinking that I don't take care of her? |
What do I think is sick??? That you have probably let 30 lab puppies come into this world!!! Go to the pound and visit a dog thats about to be put down...there are enough in this world without irresponisble dog owners bringing more into it...I could have 20 kids if I wanted to but I am not going to be doing that anytime soon just because I am a female and I CAN!!! I am responsible for my children...you cant be responsible for 30 puppies or possibly more unless you keep them and know they are being taken care of. I know its foolish trying to talk a teenager into anything..I have two teens right now...one day when you grow up you will see things differently..I HOPE.. Dawn |

Ok I get you on the lab thing. She won't be having any more puppies since we took care of the fence problem after her last litter. I understand I was irresponsible with my lab by not getting her spayed. I guess I never saw it the way you just put it. Can you be more specific about it next time though because I thought you meant that me thinking about letting my yorkie have puppies is sick. |

I just thought that it was way too much for just asking questions about it. I never said that i was going to go get her pregnant tomorrow did I? maybe it sounded like i did since I mentioned her age but I didn't. I just wanted to know if her having babies now would be bad and now I know it would have. It would have been irresponsible if I had done it without asking and posted "she's pregnant". I won't ask anymore about this subject in here. I'll just go ask professionals face to face so that they can see Cindy in person IF I decide to let her. Emphasis on "IF". I might just end up buying another female for her to be with, which was another factor that led me to think about letting her have pups. She's been lonely since my ferret passed away. |

Okay. In general, it is just not a good idea to have puppies unless you are ready to breed and know what you are doing. It takes hours and hours of work and studying. I am also fairly new to breeding but I did study and I also asked questions but it takes a lot of time and dedication even if everything does go right in birth. The pups need to be in an area that is well heated, kept clean, then the tails and dew claws done, then shots, exams, pee pee pad training, socializing, and more... Making sure your pups to to good and responsible homes and feel confident about that when the time comes. Are you ready?? |
