| Kennel cough As a vet tech, I'll tell you that there is no reason why you should NOT buy this puppy, just wait an extra week or 2 before picking her up. Kennel cough is very contagous But not usually life threatening. and once they get over it get them a bordetella vaccine and they will be protected. Normally dogs don't get kennel cough unless they are exposed to another animal with it or they are boarded in a facility with a lot of other dogs and one of them has it, hence the name kennel cough. So go ahead and get her if she's the on e you want is my advice!
