The above link will take you to the site for "The Yorkshire Terrier Magazine", which is a great magazine. It has tons of pictures from show breeders and will help you to maybe know more about the lines and the breeders. It also offers alot of educational reading as well. Lorraine Hayes from Pastoral places pictures of her up and coming champions along with her champions in the magazine quite often! I received the magazine 4-5 years before I ever became a part of breeding and showing.

That's Johnny handsome. A while back I did a search of Brutus' pedigree and found alot of pictures.

Love the Mag...I too subscribed way before I became part of showing and breeding.

The Magazine always has a pic of Johnnie in the advertisement section. He's in a small inset and it's after he was cut down.

Johnnie was a Canadian Champion, Lorraine chose not to obtain his AKC Championship. She's is now specialing Desi in Canada "Ch. Pastoral Smooth Sailing"

Thanks, so do you know right off hand what the Hungarian line is everyone talks about. I know mine has it but can't think of that name either. can you tell I am getting old? LOL i will have all that in front of me soon tho.

No, I don't know what Hungarian lines you are speaking of. I do know that breeding practices and rules are different, not as tight as they are in the USA amongst reputable/responsible/exhibitor/breeders.

Durrer is out of Canada. Durrer is one of the top lines and Betty Anne Durrer is one of the top show exhibitors. Her line is all over the country with alot of show exhibitors. I believe almost all of your Hungarian show exhibitor have the Durrer line in their pedigrees.

LOL, Pastoral Johnny Handsome got around . He's also my Sherman's great grandfather. Sherman is a NikNak pup.

Wow, this is all very interesting finding out information on the pedigrees and which lines are from great and well known show lines. I will have to learn more on searching and understanding pedigrees, it is quite valueable information.
Oh and Johnny Handsome was one gorgeous yorkie!!!

The tribute was lovely. My Champion Charmer is out of Johnnie's son "Ch. Pastoral The Blues Are Back"
