| How exciting! Don't know anything about "birthin'" babies, but I know some of our great breeders will be here soon! Just wanted to tell you good luck and I won't post again until it's over. Just know that we are praying for you and your baby!!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | GOOD LUCK and hoping a breeder comes on and sees this - ALL the best to the little mom and I hope she doesn't have too hard a time...I'm NOT a breeder but I'd probably already be at the vet ...I'd be a nervous wreck |

| If her water has broken then you should have the first pup soon. After the first pup, if she doesn't have another one for an hour I would get her to the er vet ASAP. If she starts pushing and she pushes hard for an hour with no pup...go to the ER Vet. Goodluck!!

| Had a litter a month ago and I got nervous when Gypsy went two hours between delivering a couple of the pups. That's when I hit the internet and read some dogs won't push with contrations because of their housetraining. A dog who is housebroke sometimes won't push threw with her contrations because the same urge to push is the same as if they were to defecate. This site said to take the dog out where they relieve themselves and this might help them along. I did as instrusted (keep a VERY close eye on the bitch) and Gypsy was having a Pup on my porch within a minute! I carried her back in with pup still attached to the umblicus in one hand, and Gypsy still attached in the other hand to finish the delivery. This is how my last two pups were born... practically on the porch. Hope this helps. Good Luck! |
