| Heard of this breeder in Indiana?? Hello everyone, I have 2 Poodle babies, and am looking to add our first Yorkie to the family. Is anyone familiar with Tammy Crum in Anderson, Indiana? She has a litter for sale that was born late Sept. and one born last night. She says that she gives a health guarantee and stands behind her dogs, the parents to the older litter are 4 and 5 lbs. Thanks in advance, Missy |

| I live in Muncie, about 14 minutes from Anderson. I've never heard of her But I know a good breeder here, I got my Maddie from her. Her name is Jill Brooks. her email is jillrene99@hotmail.com I know she has puppies now, and she is awesome. You might check around first before you buy. Explore your options. Tell her Denise sent you if you contact her. You wont be disappointed!!!!!!!! Her babies are small. Usually under 4lbs |

I have been to Tammy Crum's home and I personally would never purchase a dog from her. I looked at two different litters and I have no doubt they were not full blooded yorkshire terriers. At the time I visited her home she also had 3-4 different breeds. Be Careful and I would DNA anything you purchase from her! What exactly are you looking for? I may know of some reputable breeders in your area that can help you!

| Thanks Thanks for the info! I asked her how many dogs she has and how many litters per year that she has, and she would not answer me! I can't believe that AKC allows someone to register several different breeds and so many litters a year. You would think that this would be a red flag for them! As to what I am looking for....I want a standard sized female, no less than 4-5 lbs. I really like the darker colored ones, that have dark streaks of hair in their face even after they are mature. Must have an awesome temperment, with nice, healthy parents. I would like to find a breeder who has only a few dogs that are breeding for the love of the breed and not for making a profit. One that will enjoy being sent photos and emails at least once every couple of months, and will be available to answer questions whenever one pops up. I would like to get full AKC rights, as I would like the option to show/breed when she is old enough if I choose. Thanks again for taking the time to reply to my post! Missy |

| I think you will get a lot of responses. I for one ADORE it when people stay in touch and you get to see what your puppy looks like all grown up! It's wonderful - after all they are our (the breeder) furbabies for about 12 weeks. After that long how could you now want to see them later on?

I am beginning to think that they may be one of the oldest registries around but not necessarily the best anymore. JMO |
