| my aunt's dog KIC's Princess had 9...she was 6 pounds and 11 years old...unfortunately puppy #9 was stuck and killed them both. the 8 surviving puppies are now 7 years old. she went into heat after i bought a new 2 year old male. my 5 year old, 7 pound female Kat's last 3 litters have been 5, 6, 5. my 4 year old, 5 pound female Raggs last 3 litters were 4, 3, 5. my 5 pound female Babyface (8yrs & retired) had 3, 2, 4.

| litters I have had big litters from small girls and small litters from big girls..anywhere from 1 to 7 pups..with most having 3 or 4... A 5 pounder had 7 pups once and her big fat 8 pound sister bred at the same time and 2. |

| 6 Pack PepperAnn Just had 3 boys 3 girls the 18 Jan o7. PepperAnn weighs 6 lbs. I bred her to a 3lb stud. this is the same stud i used for her first litter in 2005. she had 3 boys 1 girl the first time and they weighed 8 oz each at birth. this is her 2nd litter and they weighed 2 girls at 3oz ea. then 2boys 1 girl weighed 4 oz ea and 1 boy at 5 oz. they are all doing great...

| lotter size My girls average 5 lbs and I have never had less than 4, but mostly I get 5 and the last 2 litters were 6. I never get mine x-rayed or ultra souned tho I know some who do. I just don't like to put Mom thru any stress while she preggie if it's not necessary.
