| Daisy's Puppys Daisy Delivered Her Puppys finally Today at about 11:30 am ! A big boy and a smaller girl. She had a really hard time ! I knew something was wrong yesterday by the way She was acting and I tried too find some answers on here that maybe someone else's baby acted this way too no avail.Seemed like nobody wanted to help Me and didn't take Me serious. They just laughed and said She was acting this way because She was big,Pregnant,And uncomfortable had I never been pregnant, without even asking Me more. But I knew My baby was acting sick or hurting. So at 8.00 am this morning (after sleeping only 2 hours ) She woke Me up crying and digging in Her x pen.I got up and noticed She was pushing very hard and I thought here comes the babys but after 2 hours of pushing nothing happened. Now I have read all I could but My mind went blank.I called the vet and they said that the vet was very busy with emercency care and She would call Me back as soon as She could. So again I was sooooo afraid for Her that I got on Here again as ask if someone could help Me while I waited for the vet to call Us.Nobody replyed to Me at all. Then a lady finally tryed to help (Bless Her Heart ) I have seen ladies on here needing help with birthing pup's and got 33 reply's .I got One and will always be Thankful to the sweet lady that tryed to help Us ! Maybe everyone was busy or not signed on ? But I signed on here tonight and nobody even asked how it all turned out but that one sweet lady out there. My feelings are really hurt.Yet,Thank goodness for the one lady. A real Angel. Another 45 mins passed and I was trying too check Daisy when all of a sudden a pup's head popped out and I thought Thank You God, but it would not come out any more then the head!! I got back on the phone and demanded that someone put the vet on.They did and She said come in too the office now and She would meet Us there.20 minutes away!! We drove like 85 on the freeway and finally arrived at the vet's office !!Meantime in the car Daisy sucked the pup back in after breaking the sac around it.I felt sooo bad for Her.I knew that pup was dead and that I might even lose Her.The vet took Her back and made Us wait in the waiting room.20 minutes later She came out and said the pup was lodged in the birth canal and She had to get it out(Too late for a c-section )and the pup probably would be born dead.I felt like it was all My fault for not thinking straight and I began too really cry.The vet went back and give Daisy 2 shots to help push the baby out because there was no other way. After a while the vet came out and handed Me and BIG Beautiful Baby boy and He was fine just a little shocked and stressed.A half hour later a little tiny Girl ! We are all home now after are long day and Daisy is fine and so are the pup's.She is a good mommy and I will never be the same.Proud and relieved as I am I still look at them and begin to cry.It was a true accident She got this way because I wanted to wait till She was older even though She will be 2 soon I thought about age 4 would be good but I left Her with a babysitter on My birthday and the babysitter let Her and Bailee out together. Now She will get fixed as soon as I can.And I am not blaming anyone on Here for any thing I really Love this site and the message boards,There is some wonderful People on Here and I know this is not a emergcy clinic.I just thought if one person gets 33 replies when Her fur baby is giving birth I should at least get a couple.Maybe people were busy but for nobody all day too even reply with a is Daisy and the pups okay !!!!! I would never do that to anyone on here whom needed even a kind word like -it is okay- For that special lady whom did reply You are VERY SPECIAL and I wish there were more like You in the world,I owe You a big hug and a BIG THANK YOU. from Daisy 2 pups and I !! I did truelly read all I could and talked to the vet whom took xrays and said they look like a perfect size for Her,But They cannot always just look and guess Sometimes, They have too wait and see. In the moment I went blank and paniced and what I should have done was demand the first time I called the vet that She get on the phone. For all those thinking about breeding--- Be careful because these little fur babys are tiny even if they weight 6-7-8-9 pds they still can have a really hard time,We were very lucky for the way it all turned out.Are vet said never breed Daisy again (not that I would) but alot of female yorkie's have a really hard time and that when You breed them You are taking a chance of losing the mommy. It is 50/50.My feelings are hurt that nobody reply all day to My pleas or even cared too ask if Daisy was okay for some of Us this message board is a big help like the lady that got 118 replies to ask Her how Her fur mommy did after She give birth. Thank You all for Reading this.

| Congratulations on your Daisey's babies!! Can't wait to see pics. I am sorry there was noone to help you ... I can only imagine how scarry it must have been for you. I don't know anything at all about having pups but, had I been on and seen your post, I could have been supportive. I apologize for not being here!

| We care!!! I am glad to know that Daisy and her pups are alive, healthy and doing well. I am sorry about you not getting the help or support you needed at the time. Alot of times on weekends YT is dead on here and there is hardly anyone on here. That and this is New Years weekend and a lot of people are busy and planning. No one was avoiding you, it was just bad timing. I don't know a whole lot about the whelping process, I am still learning. I do know that they say if your female is pushing hard for an hour or longer take her to the vet right away. But all the other symptoms were normal for the birthing process. I know you had to have been scared out of your mind and to find no help just makes it worse. Again sorry we weren't there for you. We really do care, there are so many caring people here at YT. You just ran into bad timing. Just curious, are you going to have the tails docked and dew claws removed?? Glad Daisy is well and doing great!! Can't wait to see pics of the new mommy and her pups!!! Please keep us updated on her progress!!!

| I'm so sorry you feel that you didn't get the support that you needed. I peeked at your thread but it sounded like you and Mardelin had it under control. One of the hardest things that I had to learn about being a breeder was when to trust your instincts and tell the vet "No, you'll see us now!" I lost a pup because I didn't stand up to an unconcerned vet. You figure they are the authority and they know best. The truth is I know my bitch better than they do and I'm responsible for the lives that are on the line. It was a painful lesson for both myself and my Roxie. I'm so glad everything turned out okay for you and Daisy (and the pups as well). Enjoy them, it's just too fun watching them discover the world.

| OMG I am sure that you were scared to death! I know that when the time comes sometimes everything you read flies right out of the window. I am sooo happy to hear that both puppies are doing great!! Are you going to keep them both? If so, are you thinking of names?
