Hey guys...

My cell phone is listed on my website. You coulda called :) I would have answered cuz I took my cell phone just in case my hubby called. Just so you know I wouldn't have minded !!!! :) :thumbup:

Oh and plus I left my list of emergency numbers on my desk. I have a few from some great YT'ers her offered their help. I kicked myself cuz I could have called one of them to let them know what was going on. I'm sorry !!!

So glad to hear she's doing so well. Congratulations. And no, 4 1/2 oz. is not so big. It's an average healthy weight. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Oh that wonderful news!! Im so happy everything is okay! I was dying to know all was ok!

I posted a thread several hours back and my computer made a noise like it was gearing down and it crashed! It turned off and when I turned it back on it said corrupt file, with a black screen. I had to reinstall windows and lost all programs, all pictures, all files for 4 yrs. Ugh!
But I sure was glad to come back here and see mom and baby are fine. I wasnt so sure as I read but sure was glad to see the ending! I was afraid it turned out bad. Yippee it didnt!!:thumbup:

Hugs to the new family. Wishing Breny a much deserved restful good sleep! Thats where Im going too...................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

Meiah is now being a good mom :) I just took her outside to potty and she wanted right back to her baby.

I took her temperature and its 102 tonight. Is that normal ? I think last time when Zoey had her pups the Vet told me if her temp got to 103 to call ASAP.

She seems to be eating pretty good. But sleeping more than she is eating. She's eating right now :) Of all places the very top nipple! I tried to pull her off but she wanted to stay so I'll leave her there a minute :)

I beleive I read that they spend 10% time eating and 90% time sleeping?

temp is fine...keep taking it for the next 3 days twice a day to make sure there is no infection ...I am sure the vet and the oxy cleaned her out! but again its best to be safe!

Breny never take a pup off the teat it will fall asleep when its content! just let mother nature take its course and momma too!

I'm being that over protective mom aren't I ???? I,m trying, I'm trying !!!! I don't even want to sleep tonight cuz I don't want to take my eyes off her !!!!

I get nervous too cuz Meiah already sat on her. So I watched to see what would happen and after a couple seconds she moved but still...all that worries me !

Thank goodness Peeka is a boy because if he was a girl and had pups i don't think i could ever sleep lol i would take the pups to bed with me lol

Glad her temp is fine. Keep on monitoring it as well as the baby's

When you get more experienced at this you'll start keeping the Oxy (POP) shot on hand and doing it yourself.

Shewwwww, HOW stressful! What a wonderful happy ending though!:thumbup: :thumbup: Your new little girl is adorable and no, 4 1/2 ounces isn't too big. You really do have to keep a close eye on the pup (as you are). Mamma will not remove her from dangerous situations that may smother her. Just do a puppy check frequently without disturbing Meiah. Meiah will have to pee frequently and then want right back in with her pup. Do not encourage her to want to spend time away (some people feel guilty thinking they aren't spending enough time with a new Mamma). I can't believe they didn't come out sooner at the vet's and tell you she was having the pup naturally. EVERYTHING worked out well in the end though! CONGRATULATIONS!!!:bravo:

Julz, you are right about keeping a close watch. I usually keep mine in my bedroom, by my bed with a flashlight, any wimpering I'm awake like a flash.
