My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Dock/Dews - how much do you pay? My vet doesn't do them so I'm going to be looking for a vet to do this. What do all of you pay for yours? All dews and the tail dock? I'd like to get an idea before I call around. (after seeing it done on my video - there's no way I'm going to do it yet or I should say theres no way I'm going to start to learn at this point) |

| It was 45 to do 4 for me. Of course, the vet is a family friend, so I don't know what it would be for a regular person. |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I just called a vet that another breeder friend uses and they told me $28.00 office call and then $10.00 per pup. Is that high? I don't think the per pup cost is but if you add on the office call it gets up there. |

| My vet charges a 22.00 office visit fee and then 15 for ea. tail and 8 for each dewclaw. I told him that was rediculous. Another vet in this area is 26 ea pup for both tail and claw.

| It all depends where you live... I paid $85 yesterday to have both my puppies dew claws removed and tails docked. I was quoted from $25 to $400 each puppy, ridiculous...I guess the $400 vet doen't like to do them??? I saw my vet do it and when I have another litter I will definately do it myself. Sugar's Mom, I am gonna ask you when I'm ready, lol...

| I am so surprised at the cost of this I could have been making so much money running all over the country doing this for friends. At least they could pay for the gas. Just kidding, as long as they learn to do it themselves and I do not have to keep traveling it is worth it. |

| I just paid $10.00 for each pup for the tail and $5.00 for each pup for the dew claws and no added office call for a total of $45.00 for three pups and for that price I will never do it myself! |

| Here in the Seattle area it's $35 for the first pup and $15 each after. There is no office visit fee. Not sure I could ever do it myself. |
