| Yes pics can be quite decieving In fact I kept Puppy C..... Still I have a very very bad feeling about my decisicion since Puppy A was some gramms smaller and had all the perfect qualities of a little great Yorkie pup. Except that I have noticed that she might carry a curly tail.... .....A week ago I sold Puppy A and I have had nightmares ever since and I cannot forgive myself. Sometimes you have to follow your heart Thanks for all your help and may you and your loved ones have a wonderful Christmas. JohnF |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Oh 3 was my pick. I can imagine how hard it must be to let them go. But as long as you feel confident that they are loved and well taken care of you have made some people very happy.

| This might help, you really shouldnt evaluate a pup or its structure before the age of 8 weeks...Pat Hastings is a wonderful source, I ve spoken to her a couple times she stresses more often than not the pups conformation is in place at the age of 8 weeks. She does evalutations only two days before eight weeks through two days after eight weeks no later. Litter Evaluations by Pat Hastings This is an educational tool - an opportunity for you to learn what is correct and what strengths are needed in your breeding plans. Litter evaluations are more about which lifestyle is suitable for each puppy and which puppies belong in a breeding program than they are about picking show prospects. also her video might help too! http://www.dogfolk.com/puppypuzzlevideo.htm Puppy Puzzle is the approach developed by Bob and Pat Hastings for the structural evaluation of puppies. It addresses both the parameters of the evaluation process, as well as how to evaluate for decisions and answers. The process discussed in this video has been used by the Hastings to evaluate over 250 litters per year. For years they have documented each evaluation and have been amazed at the accuracy of the process. See what it can do for you and your breeding program! hope this helps happy holidays

| Hi All, Many thanks for your comments and suggestions. It's been nearly 9 months now! At the time of my last post I opted for Puppy C (Kyrah). Some weeks later I had a call from the new owner of Puppy A (Shaka) who wanted to give her back since she was leaving the Island. Happily we decided to keep her too. They both turned out to be adorable pets; Kyrah being a little more smaller (and fragile). Here is a pic of how they look today. Puppy A (Shaka) is on the left while Puppy A (Kyrah) is on the right. We love them all equally (including Duska - their mum) http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...tersbframe.jpg |
