| worming nursing mom Can I give my nursing mama worm medicine. I noticed that she has worms, but I am unsure if the medicine could somehow affect her pups. Thanks

| My vet says yes. Panacur is the safest dewormer for nursing moms. It is also good to give the first dose of dewormer to the pups at 2 weeks of age. Teri

| worms I would find out what type worms...if they are tapes, I would leave them alone until weaning..if they are hooks or round, they can be a health threat to a mom and litter... |

| Thanks for the advice I want to thank everyone for the advice. I did talk to my vet, and they told me she had tape worms and gave me a pill to give to her. They said they would also worm her when they started worming her puppies at 4wks old.
