| question on pedigree/registration You know how you have a certain time limit to register your puppy/dog by. Well, do you have a certain time limit or time frame to get their pedigree or can you get that at any time?? I got Scampers registration certificate and I would like to get his pedigree but I don't have the money right now. So is there a time limit or penatly fee with getting their pedigrees??

| No, you can get a pedigree at any time. Just go to AKC web site and request one and for a fee you can get it..... Debbie Ray Sum Toi Yorkshire Terriers |

| AKC charges a late fee if you register past one year from registration date on the papers that were given to you by the breeder, I believe its an additional $35.00.

| Thanks everyone for the information!!! I had a golden a few years back and it was way past the registration date and they would not let me register her. I had all the paperwork too, she came from a long line of champions but they said it was too late to register her. She would have been AKC registered. That is why I thought there was a time limit on when you can register them.
