| AKC Breeder info request?? Okay, I thought if you called the AKC they can give you info on a breeder, such as how many dogs registered within the year or if they had any suspensions etc. I called and although the lady told me there was no red flags with suspensions she wouldnt give any other info. What are they allowed to tell you? |

| Sorry I honestly have no idea what they are and aren't allowed to tell you. Maybe someone else will know and can help you out. |

| I don't know the answer but your question didn't seem invasive to me. |

| That's a great question! It would give people a lot of information... I wonder if you can find that information out.

Now I see why some breeders freely give their vet numbers when there is nothing you could find out even if you called!

| There are alot of considerations to be made, you are right, I wouldnt be concerned for example if a person had 13 dogs registered. I would be concerned if it were double or triple this amount. Calling AKC wasnt to question how the dogs are cared for, it was to verify the info the breeder had stated regarding her small breeding practices. |

I have had two dogs pass away at a younger age. Although I've marked them in my paper work as deceased, they're still registered to me with AKC.

It's more of a, how many litters a year, I recall reading it here on YT that it was possible to obtain that info from akc, thats what gave me the idea to do so, I guess it was wrong.
