| spay ? i had my female spayed on thursday and she is doing fine a little to good acutually. my question is why is my male (nutered) so interested in her and why is she so willing she does the standing in front of him with her tail raised. i am haveing to keep them separated . could she have some hormon odor on her from the surgery or something? i havent given her a bath yet wanted to give her time to heal before i did. maybe i will just wipe her back area off with baby wipes and see if that gets rid of the smell. ( i dont smell anything) but i am sure my male does. man i was hopeing i wouldnt have to deal with this anymore, and i am sure i wont once she heals and has a bath. any one else have this problem after a spay surgery?

| I don't know, but my male LOVES to sniff Spayed females butts. Strange though, when they aren't spayed, he wants nothing to do with them! My younger sister has 3 female dogs. Before she got the last one spayed, my male hated her, but I had to constantly get on him, for keeping his nose up the other 2 spayed ones butts! Times I wonder if my male is just really confused! |
