| I use Canidae for all my pups. I love it b/c it gets their coats really shiny, and I never have to change dog foods! You can start feeding it to them as pups. |

| I started out feeding mine INNOVA EVO alone. They love it. I read how it was not a bad idea to pick another high quality food that complimented the one you were feeding. Just an added bonus. I now mix Canidae and Innova Evo. My dogs love them both. Even though some dogs live long on bad dog foods doesn't mean they are healthy or feel good. Look at some people!! I just believe that after reading alot about dogs and dog foods that it is very important to feed what their bodies are meant to have. I wish I could feed raw but do not have the time. The grains are not good for them and typically just pass right through. More *%#@ to pick up. Just a cheap filler for the dog food company. Most dog foods are available online and the shipping is not bad if you get a large bag. I buy a large bag and to keep it fresh we freeze it until we need more if I think we cannot use it in a reasonable amount of time. |

How do you know that they ARE healthier just because you feed them a higher end food? That's the problem. There is NO way for us to know. | |

| I have been feeding Abigail and Summer Timberwolf Lamb and Apples dry food. They seem to like it I read somewhere that it was really good. I have seen anyone else on here mention it before so I am not sure. I am still on the first bag. I was going to buy the Canidae next but I might stick with the Timberwolf they seem to like it.

| I rotate my dogs food 4 times a year (every 3 months). I feed them Chicken Soup, Merrick, Blue Buffalo and Evolve.

| I tried Blue Buffalo and they absolutely hated it. I tried and tried to get them to eat it I could only get them to eat a few pieces and those pieces I had to hand feed them. I was soo upset because it wasn't that cheap neither is Timberwolf thats why I am glad they like it or at least they are eating it.

I've heard lots of great things about Timberwolf -- it's a 5 star food.

| I got it from Petsmart. I had never heard of it either until I saw it on in a similar thread to this one. The person said that it was good for them and that you could get it at Petsmart so that is why I tried it.

Yeah Summer use to be a pig and I thought she would eat it but they wouldn't it was strange. They will usually it almost anything especially Summer. Lately Summer has just wanted whatever Abigail has even though they get the same exact food Abigail just gets more. Its crazy lol.

| Does anyone else have this issue? LOL, it's kinda funny but weird. One day, Oliver would not eat his food out of the dish (probably wasn't hungry I thought), so my husband (figuring he just needed to taste a little bit to stimulate his appetite) sat there and took a few pieces at a time out of the dish and placed them on the floor and Oliver ate them right up. Then he wouldn't finish his food in the bowl. Now he only wants to eat if we sit there and take little handfuls, throw them on the floor next to his food dish and THEN he will eat them. Otherwise he will walk away from a full dish and not even touch it. If you put it on the floor he will sit there and wait for the next handful then eat it and sit and look at you for the next handful, etc,.. etc....is that the funniest weirdo thing??? Patty |

| When my Mom's Malteses come to visit who she says will not eat dry dog food. I take a handful and literally throw it on the carpet scattering it all over. Then we sit back and watch my three Yorkies and her two Malteses have a ball finding and eating every little piece of kibble. It's like dogs having an Easter Egg hunt. |
