So Lori should start holding the pup down while on its side to nurse now, right? She said she is scared because of the back legs. Wonder if they are deformed. I hope not. I hope she can help this little pup to be normal and live a long healthy life. Lori, I wish you and the pup the very best. Please let us know what the vet says and try turning him on his side while he is latched on nicely and hold him there.

Guys, thanks for all the replies. I have been on the net non stop when I'm not taking care of pups. He is actually doing great!!! I am so happy. Pray works!! He goes to vet tomorrow for tails and dewclaws. I taped a cotton ball on his chest (found on net) so he can't stay on his tummy. That is what flattens the chest and causes the trouble. Which his check is round and great right from start. His back legs seemed weak and crossed. That is what we noticed and started this whole thing. Well, he is eating like a champ, put on 4 oz. He is really getting around. Chest is still perfect, and his legs are not crossed but out behind his and he can really move them. I have talked to my vet, but can't wait for him to see tomorrow. There has been a big change though. I am so happy!!!!!!!!!!! I'll keep you posted. Coco is great mom and everyone else is doing great, also. Thanks again. I'm still trying to figure out the picture thing and seem to have no time now!!! Lori

Oh, sounds like great news! Please post again after tomorrow and let us know what the vet says. Maybe in the meantime you should do a little therapy with him....bending and flexing his little legs. Thanks so much for the update and looking forward to tomorrow's post. See, you already had 2 of us on here check our litters .
