Has anyone bought a yorkie from this brazillian breeder? Hey all! I haven't been on yt in forever! Missed you all! Anywho I was wondering if anyone had bought a yorkie puppy from this brazillian breeder I found. They are located in Brazil. They are very friendly and seem legit, but I'm VERY weary of buying anything from oversea's esp. a puppy.Does anyone have any experience with dealing with them? Thanks in advance!:p www.puppyclick.com |
Ive never had any dealings with that breeder but I have always heard brazillian yorkies are gorgeous |
i don't know??? there are alot of puppies available at one time which means either alot of females giving birth (ie..puppy mill) and or, females being used just to pump out puppies. also he has more than one breed. i would keep looking unless someone here has purchased one from them. |
I'm mostly worried I will pay for a puppy and go to the airport and there will be no puppy their, haha!:p Or, they'll send me a different puppy then I paid for:eek: ! |
Hi, my yorkie Princess Pia came from Brazil. I had no problems. The breeder you have seems fine but I would try to get more information before getting the dog. I was so scared to get a dog from another country. I had the woman take pictures of Pia with different things to make sure the dog existed. Then I actually checked the airlines to see if she ever used them before like she claimed. I called in the evening (continental) and by luck talked with someone from animal cargo. She told me all the times my breeder shipped dogs. I had references from the breeder and the airline woman was giving their names. That helped me to feel much better. I noticed the breeder on that page you provided has a hotmail address. That actually concerns me a little. I would see if they could provide an email address through their actual net provider. Never send western union and ask all the questions you want. If you need any advice please feel free to ask me. If you wanna see more of Pia check my page out at www.sweetpuppylove.zoomshare.com Good Luck to you!! |

If you do decide to do it let us know how it works out. Why don't you ask if you could pay COD just a thought. |
I would be very careful. Can't you find a breeder in the US? Have you been to YTCA.org and checked for breeders in your area? IF your puppy is ill and MANY brazilian puppies come with a variety of things. Mites, giardia etc.. I do not know how you would recoup your money if something happened... God Forbid!! |

I would be VERY careful, I ran into two different situations, on two occasions of looking in the paper and on the net for a Yorkie. The guy gave me some story about the man he sold the puppies to was a pastor and that he was on a missionary in Africa and couldn't keep the pups. Then there was another who told me a similar story. SCAMS! I was so pissed! Luckily, I didn't do any dealings with them, but I'm sure somebody has. |
Please be careful! You have no idea what the living conditions of these puppies or their parents are like. There are many puppies for sale by YT members for the same price as this breeder and at least they are in this country and you could check out the parents and living conditions as well as the breeder. :) Good luck in your search! |
I was more interested in a brazilian yorkie puppy, because I heard they have great lines and are gorgeous. But I'll be very careful. |
Just a word of advice. I do not know what your criteria is but most of the brazilian dogs have a tendency to have soft coats. If you are looking for a silk coat you may not get it. And another thing that you might want to consider is the brazilians are breeding the great lines from the dogs here and in Canada. Not brazil. |

I added to my post for you LOL but all good silks will grow floor length too. My Rio is sired by a brazilian dog. He has a full floor length softer coat. Be careful what you wish for:D |

LOL!! He is a cute dog but I didn't name him. He came already named and I thought it was cute so I kept it:p |

just my opinion but, I would never buy a puppy from another country...but, that's just me. I would want to see the breeder, Mom and Dad and living conditions...Anybody can tell and show you ANYTHING over the internet..I would be cautious. |
What does Brazil have that we haven't got?! :D Okay, no seriously! I don't get it! Why would you buy a dog from oversees, when there are so many fabulous breeders and lines here? |

Most of the dogs bred in Brazil come from European lines. I believe if someone is so interested in purchasing a dog with European background then this person may do some research in the US, what you think? There are few selective and show quality breeders here in the States that have dogs from European bloodline. Why don't you buy your baby in America? My Stella is European. She is GORGEOUS! OOOOOOops if I REALLY have to buy out the Country I would feel more confortebale to buy from Europe (European FCI show/breeders). :) Quote:

Hi, hope your having some good luck with that breeder. I understand where your coming from when you say they caught your eye. Thats exactly what happened with me when I saw Princess Pia. I just fell in love with her and then found out she was in Brazil. She is as healthy as can be and a wonderful little girl. Hope everything works out for you. :aimeeyork |

Just like everyone else is saying just be really careful.. On the other hand one of my grooming clients, Ava is a Brazilian yorkie and she is just the cutest little girl, soft coated but VERY cute. I always tell them Im not giving her back, but then again I tell all my yorkie customers that lol. I just love them all. Ava is such a sweet heart, its hard grooming her because all she wants to do is kiss me and give me her belly to rub. But how can you get mad when your getting yorkie kisses all over you :) |
