Oh my GOODNESS Pia is a gorgeous girl!!! I love her!! I am currently waiting on a yorkies boy who is just 5 weeks now. If you don't mind me asking what made you decide to get a yorkie from Brazil? Was she expensive??? Thanks |
Dina Nicole, where did u get Pia from, like what website?? She is adorable! |
Pia Hi, Pia was found on puppyfind.com The lady isn't selling much yorkies anymore. I only know this because my mom wanted to get one from her and she didn't have any at this time. I actually have two yorkies and a pekingese. I'll put my site at the end for you to view if you want. I had no intentions of getting another yorkie so soon after I bought my other one but while browsing pics on puppyfind I came across her and fell in love. All three of my dogs are the biggest babies and I'm so ready for another one, LOL!! Thanks for the nice compliment!! :) www.sweetpuppylove.zoomshare.com |
I forgot to tell you how cute your baby is :D |
Brazilian yorkies (or European) are gorgeous in my opinion. I have ALWAYS been drawn to them and I have Brazilian lines myself... they are some of my most beautiful, vibrant dogs ever. However, I would not purchase from a middle man...ever. If thats the "type" you like, you should try to work directly with a breeder from Brazil instead of someone who buys them for re-sale. How can one truly tell you all you want to know about parents, ect. Most likely they have never layed eyes on them. I have no knowledge of this person what so ever...and I am not passing judgement here. Just saying that I would not purchase from a middle man whether it be american or foreign lines. And YES! Cute baby! |
Brazil yorkies This is to "butterfly yorkie" Hi, not sure if you were meaning me but my breeder had Pia's parents. She sent me many pics of her parents and a few generations back. She definately was no middle man. I agree I would want to know those things also but this wasn't an issue for me at all. I was provided with all the information a person could ever ask for. |

Hi, wasn't directing anything at you. I never questioned anyone on this thread. Just made a general statement because I DO have direct brazilian lines and I know the pros and cons. Actually ehunny started the thread and I was basically giving her or anyone else interested the info. Best wishes |
Let me clarify... There are ALOT of people in the U.S. buying up entire litters from UN-ETHICAL Brazilian/European breeders and RE-SELLING them here in the U.S. to our general yorkie puppy seekers for TWICE what they paid for them. My ADVICE when dealing with a BRAZILIAN breeder is to deal DIRECTLY with the breeder and look to a show breeder there. Do not fall for the MIDDLE MAN here in the U.S. who will sale you a baby from BRAZIL for profit only. There are three very nice, well respected kennels in BRAZIL that I would purchase from. My breeder there being one of them and I'm sure there are other's who are reputable. Sorry that my warning caused confusion. |
Hi there, not a big deal. I just felt you were meaning me on this matter. There are definately some terrible breeders out there and you always have to be careful no matter where your looking to buy a dog. Pia came straight from Brazil and like I said before I was provided with all the information a person could ever want. The lady was great!!! Good Luck to anyone looking to buy a yorkie from Brazil or anywhere. I just love them all!!!:animal36 |
I haven't found my brazillian pup yet, but I know what I want, haha! I'm obsessed with a very dark and thick coat and it seems this is very common in brazillian yorkies. I'm going to keep looking though and if anyone knows of any, please let me know!:p |
I just purchased a yorkie from Brazil. Total rip off!! huge overbite, no papers to be transfered to AKC as promised, no microchip , wrong date of birth on the shipping papers. I could go on and on. The pup was a sweet as could be but not the quality I was promised or that he claims his dogs are on his website. I sold a pup to someone that knows a breeder in Brazil and she called him for me and he was sooo shocked. He said he never checked the pups bite and he would send me another pup but I had to pay the shipping. I wouldn't send this guy another dime. I also told her that he had ADD and he is on meds now... He also claims that he is a vet:rolleyes: I sold the pup for 1/2 of what I paid for him to a very loving home so I feel great about that. He was a cuddle bug and I loved him dearly but cuoldn't use him for my breeding program. There was no misunderstanding about what I was looking to buy, this guy is just a scammer and dishonest. I don't want to breeder bash but stay away from a breeder who's initials are M. G. and claims to be a vet. You can PM me if you need any info. :thumbdown . I know of another person on this forum that bought a dog from him for breeding and it was spayed and came without papers.... |
I reread your post. It was puppyclick. DON'T buy from there!!:thumbdown :thumbdown  |

M.G is Marcelo Greca. Oh no I was thinking about buying a pup from him as well. Thanks for the heads up. |
I never had a puppy from Brazil . Next spring , I\'ll have a little girl from Germany . |
