Donating YT 14K Club Member | 63 Days into our pregnancy Well, today is day 63 and ain't-nothin- goin-on-but-the-rent! I've called just about every vet in our phone book and was told that there was nothing they could do for her except a c-section and to leave her be. Guess they told me! I know that this is the waiting out period but I'm about to drive myself batty!!! She has not even begun any nesting behavior and still eats like a horse!!! Well, I guess that I'll just keep my eyes glued on her and wait! |

| Have you taken her temperature? The breeders on YT say it will drop to 99 or 98 when she is due to whelp. |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Her temp has stayed in the 99 degree zone for 1 1/2 weeks now. It went down once to 98.7 but no such luck. I use a lubricant but I feel bad because I know her little hiney-bo has got to be sore! |

| I had a female that went a week overdue. I took her to the vet and had xrays. The vet found that it was one large pup that had grown too big to pass through the birth canal. He had to do a c-section. The pups trigger labor when they are not getting enough nutrients in the womb. With one pup, they get penty of nutrients so labor is not triggered. If she goes later than a week, have xrays done. The pup looked a week old at birth. The vet said he looked like a baby rottwieler. He is now 7 moths old and only 3 pounds. |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Well, she's started her panting today. For the past 3 1/2 hours her temp was 98.5 and the past 3 times, it's stayed 98.7. So, I'm expecting them tonight! She has had some mild contractions...braxton hicks. She lays around a lot but will sit up and start panting. I can't wait!!! I'll keep everyone informed once the pups arive! |
