Was it just born? They get darker shortly after birth. I did see an ad once where someone was trying to sell a Yorkie as "rare" because its nose was partly pink. Probably just a lack of pigment. IF the pup wasn't JUST born, check the rims of the eyes. If they seem almost without color, it is a lack of pigment.

I've always been told that feeding out of a plastic bowl will change the color of a dog's nose. I personally don't know if it's true or not but just in case...we don't use plastic.

They were just born... however 1 was black, one was pink and the last was part pink and black. When I see them again.. I will have to check out the eye area.

They will get darker as they get older, but the pink might not disappear all together. I have had pups like this that are purebred with dark eyerims. Yes, it is a fault, but minor in my opinion.

I had a female born with a very pink nose. At 3 months it still was not completely gone but her owner says its just as black as can be now. First pic at 4 weeks, second at 3 months(changing to black), sorry no new pic of the completely black nose. Names are different on the pics because the new owner Wanted her forever name to be Cricket
