| yorkie in heat Hi all, my little baby is in her first heat. She is keeping herself very clean, not much blood. My question is, she looks so sad and only wants to be around me. She is a family pet and always loves everyone. But right now she wants nothing to do with the rest of the family. ONLY ME. Is there anything I can do for her to make her more comfortable? She looks so sad. Thanks meeshue |

| just give her cuddles when she wants 'em, the hormones will run their course eventually..and make an appt to get her spayed when she's done with this heat.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | As with human females, they can be moody or sad during this time. It's her first heat and more than likely, she and/or her body doesn't quite know what's going on. Like Stacy said, spend time cuddling and loving on her. She needs some extra TLC right now!

| yep, just like us humans, those %##* hormones, I felt much better after I was spayed too , The first heat with Dori, that we didn't breed her, she was the same way. We just cuddled her and held her, she will change this in about 10 days, then, I hope theres not a stud around?
