| He is quite a cutie! Really nice coloring. Does he have a tail? It looks like it. Can you show Yorkies with a tail? I thought they needed to be docked??! |

| Hollywood...the OP is in Slovenia. Docking is not done on European dogs. I would not breed a dog with a roach back...jmo.

| Your Gigo is a cutie! I personally will not breed a dog with a roach back. My George is like Gigo. This is why I neutered him and placed him a lovely pet home.

| For a pet quality dog.. I guess it would depend on what you are looking for to breed him? He can have some beautiful pet quality pups..? I wonder if this can be corrected by breeding wiht one that has a good topline? ALthough I remember hearing it is hard to breed that quality out? I wonder??

| I think in his case he could pass this to his offspring, I may be wrong, the thing is his topline is arched instead of the usual problem of slopped so it rather unusual. I think the best thing is trace back to his sire and dam and see if any of them have this. If so than that would answer your question. |

| Roach back, sometimes called wheel back, is a serious fault and, in my opinion, he should not be bred. Many with roach back will become arthritic as they age. I would talk to a vet about giving him glucosamine and fish oil supplements to try and delay the onset of arthritis as long as possible. |

| I would seriously not breed him. It is something that will more then likely be passed down the generations. He is a cutie, a great pet but pet. When breeding I think we should all aim to be ethical as possible. t is only fair to the future puppies and future owners. Also there will be more the likely probelms with arthritus in his back as he ages. Roach back and unlevel tolines are undesirable for a reason, it affects their health. I would have him fixed and just enjoy your cute little guy. |

| I think you are right. He is not for breeding. I will never bread him, becouse I want the future yorkies are healthy. But I can`t understand. I am a beginer in breeding. This is my first yorki. I bought him at age of 4 months. I bought and pay him as SHOW QUALITY dog and for breed. Of course I had no experience so I could simple overlook this mistake. Breeder assure me at that time that hi is with no mistake!!!!!! So is it really possible that the topline was perfect at that time as she is telling me all the time????????????
