| It has been more than 24 hours... since her temperature drop and still no labor or puppies. Is that OK since it is her first litter? Or cause for concern? Yesterday morning her temp was 97.6 and then I took her temp last night again and it was 98.1. I know it is not an exact science, so just wondering if I should bring her to the Vet to have her checked out again, or is it normal to sometimes take longer than the 24 hr mark. Thanks! Audrey |

| Normal...and each mom varies whelp to whelp. I wouldn't leave the house, you'll probably be seeing pups by tonight.

| If she is acting normal, I would think she is just fine and wouldn't rush to the vet. I think you're only about at day 59 (by your calculations) so it might be another couple of days. |

| Thanks guys for your responses. Yes she is acting pretty normal. She is more tired, licking and cleaning the sheets, and herself. She just had a loose bowel movement which I know is normal, but other than that she is fine. We are just waiting patiently now. Audrey |

| Every dog is diff and some won't follow the temp thing. Just make sure to look for any green discharge and if you see any get to your vet ASAP.
