was placed in rescue because his breeder TSA-LA-GI did not help him. His owner was handicapped and could not help Willie. Willie did get the liver shunt surgery paid for by TSFMLS.....and Willie is living a happy life today.....but he very nearly died....several persons did heroic deeds to rush him by automobile to Tenn for surgery. But it was not due to his breeder.....Willie was abandoned by his breeder. And yes his owner paid $2,300 for Willie and Willie's numberous vet bills totaled over $2,000 to save his life. The letter posted about Willie was mailed to his breeder "registered mail" return receipt requested (it was the only way to contact her)....so there can be no doubt his breeder was apprised of his health issues. I sure hope Willie is the only puppy to suffer....because suffer he did. Sometimes breeders do not live up to their written guarantee.....hopefully Willie was the only victim! We can only hope!

I saw this about Willie before I bought my first puppy from Glenda and I did investigate. I did not ask questions on a forum but went to organizations that would take action against a breeder with bad business practices and found nothing against her.

| Cypress got a clean bill of health from the vet. She said he's 3.4 pounds at 16 weeks which would put him about 5.5 adult weight and I'd like him to be over 5 so that is great. His poop was good with no parasites, his knees look great and he's a healthy weight maybe even a few ounces too pudgy. He's eating better too - I know it takes them a few days to adjust. Thanks so much for all of ya'll help!

| I live in Canada. I met a woman here in Saskatoon, Sask.(Arlene) who has a beautiful 3 lb. yorkie male (compact body, straight back, beautiful hair) that I am using as a male stud. I asked her where she got the dog from and she told me Oklahoma. I had gotten a dog from Oklahoma (breeder: Chaffins) which was a horrible experience, so I asked Arlene which Oklahoma breeder she used. She told me it was Glenda Beavers and gave me the phone #, etc. Arlene had nothing but the best to say about Glenda. I would personally like to buy my next yorkie from Glenda. |

| I now have two dogs from Glenda and am extremely pleased with both of them. Glenda was very helpful in helping with the travel arrangements for both of these pups. That was not an easy task! Needless to say, both my boy and girl are beautiful but almost more importantly, they were very well socialized. They came off of the plane happy to greet anyone who was interested. I just came across this forum today and was surprised to see that there was reference to me in this forum. Someone is claiming to have used my male for stud. This is not true. The only breeding this male has done is with the female I bought from Glenda. I would be interested to know who this person is. The good news is that my two Tsa La Gi pups now have pups of their own and are also beautiful! When I had questions about tail length, Glenda was more than willing to lend her expertise. |
