| Mother Nature is full of surprises . Sometimes it will be 2 - 3 , other times it can go up to 7 . |

| A YT member, mama lexee, just had nine pups. The mom was 8 pounds and the dad was 3 1/2 pounds. That's the most I've ever heard of. I think normal is 3 to 6 and it seems that the larger the mom the more pups she has. |

| Yorkies are like that old saying........"don't count your chickens before they are hatched" ....Truly they are a very challenging breed. Size of litters and size of puppies are challenging. All over the board. You may get one magnificient puppy and one unusual one. A litter of mediocre, A litter of almost perfect. Gotta love the diversity of such a breed. Keeps you hopping and hoping |

| WOW!! Nine Pups!! I had a litter on April 29 of 7 pups! Thank goodness for a wonderful mom! All are gaining weight and healthy, chubby, precious babies |

| My Bridget came from a litter of six, and recently gave birth to her first litter of four, so I think it just varies. My good friend Jenns dogs have ranged from 1 to 4 as well.
