to give the first shots or wait
We Have 4 Puppies They Going To Be Next Week,6 Weeks Old.3 Of Them Weight 2 Pounds. The Little Girl Tinkerbell She Is The Runt,she Is Under 2 Pounds.the Question Is,do I Wait With Her First Shots Until She Gains More Weight.somebody Told Me .it Is Better If They Weight At Leat 2 Pounds. Does Anybody Knowes The Answer

I don't begin shots until 8 weeks then every 3-4 weeks there after for a series of three. Remember to use 5-1 puppy shot without Lepto.
Your little runt might break 2 lbs by waiting the extra two weeks as well!

Ditto...many of my pups are not 2 pounds at 8 weeks or even 10..but since I stopped Letpo some years ago I have not had a pup with a reaction at all.
