| ![]() Okay..sorry..the Code of Ethic's for the regional club states..breeding no more then two out three heats...there are many wonderful breeder/vets, not met one who agrees with non-stop breeding...but you know something, I may be thinking with my heart tonight. I have seen so many overbred bitches and wound up bailing out one too many breeders, it gets old...didn't mean to vent on you. I guess I was thinking about Cannelle, a girl bred 5 times in a row..she was bred 2 more times and no pups, so she was of no use any longer and disposed of... |

| ![]() Thank U for asking about "How Often To Breed"! I too was wondering this...See so far Tiffy has been in heat Twice...1st time last Aug (I kept them 100% apart.) and then this past Feb. So I was thinking that if she only goes into heat twice a year then bread her again next Feb...That way she'd have time to rest...And maybe it wouldn't wear her out so much??? Maybe I'm wrong??? But I don't have other Yorkees to breed...Just Tiffy and Teddy...I'm also new @ this and I didn't think she'd even get pregnant with Teddy being so much smaller then her...Boy let me tell U size don't count!! They both fooled me! But I wouldn't trade a one of them for nothing! Hugs, Lee |
